Mitridatite - Sold


This is a dark green crust of mitridatite on iron ore matrix. Mitridatite is a calcium iron phosphate mineral named after King Mithradates, former king of realm where the first specimens were found. This specimen was purchased in Sweden in 1994, from the collection of Dennis Holmberg.
