Sidorenkite - Sold

Sidorenkite is a sodium manganese phosphate carbonate. The mineral name honors Aleksandr Sidorenko (1917-1982), geologist who founded Kola Scientific Center (Khomyakov et al., 1979).

Sidorenkite forms a pink cleavage, 9 mm across, in sugary albite. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona.
