Huanghoite here forms platy grains to 1.3 cm in a banded matrix of fluorite and aegirine. The mineral is honey-colored, and likely admixed with other rare earth bearing minerals. This sample is form the type locality. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona.
