Arsenic is a naturally occurring semi-metallic element. The word arsenic comes from the Greek arsenikos, itself likely derived from an ancient Persian word for orpiment.
Arsenic here forms botryoids to 6 mm, peeking out of a calcite vein. The matrix appears carry some metallic silver. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona.
