Varulite

Varulite is an anhydrous sodium manganese iron phosphate, and a member of the alluadite group (Hatert, 2019). The name varulite recalls its type occurrence at Varuträsk, Sweden (Quensel, 1937).

A blocky fragment of varulite, apparently a pure mass. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona.
