Metatorbernite is a copper uranyl phosphate mineral. The mineral name honors Torbern Bergmann (1735-1784), Swedish chemist and mineralogist at Uppsala University.
Metatorbernite forms green plates to 1.2 scattered on a shard of smoky quartz matrix. Microscopic strengite and cacoxenite are also present. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona.
