Strashimirite found 2000

Strashimirite is a hydrous copper arsenate. Mincheva-Stefanova (1968) named the species in honor of Strashimir Dimitrov (1892-1960), Bulgarian petrographer.

Strashimirite here forms a loosely packed botryoidal crust of delicate fibers. From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona. Laskowski self-collected this specimen September 29, 2000.
