Semseyite is a lead antimony sulfosalt (Moëlo et al., 2008). Krenner (1881) named the species in honor of Count Andor von Semsey (1833-1923), a Hungarian mineral collector. This example features metallic bladed crystals to 5 mm on cleaved sphalerite matrix.
From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020). Laskowski acquired this specimen from George Witters in 1997; labels from Laskowski and Witters accompany the specimen.
