Titanowodginite


Titanowodginite is manganese titanium tantalum oxide, and a member of the wodginite group. Ercit et al., (1992) named the mineral for its relationship to wodginite and its titanium content. This specimen consists of white quartz with subhedral crystals of titanowodgnite to 3 mm.

From the collection of E.R. Laskowski (1949-2020), a mining engineer who retired to Tucson, Arizona. Laskowski acquired this specimen from Dakota Matrix in 2009; Labels from Laskowski and Dakota Matrix accompany the specimen.
