Scorodite is an iron arsenate mineral. The mineral name is derived from the Greek σκοροδιον for garlic, in allusion to smell created upon heating (Breithaupt, 1818).

Scorodite here forms blue crystals to 4 mm lining a cavity in compact limonite. Pyrite is present in the matrix. Found 1982.
