Ludlamite is an iron phosphate mineral, originally found in Cornwall. Field (1885) named the mineral after Henry Ludlam (1824-1880), an English mineral collector.
This is an attractive coverage of ludlamite with crystals to 4 mm. There is a bruise on the center face face of the specimen, which considerably lowers its asking price. The matrix consists of siderite and iron oxides. This piece probably would trim into a fine thumbnail. Formerly in the Harold Slavik (1946-2011) collection.
