Agardite-(Ce) is a cerium bearing copper arsenate mineral. The mineral name agardite honors Jules Agard (1916-2003), BRGM geologist of Orléans, France (Dietrich et al., 1969).Here agardite-(Ce) forms matted bundles of needles to 5 mm across. The matrix consists of vuggy quartz covered in dolomite crystals, and with minor iron staining.
