This is a spectacular specimen of clinoatacamite featuring a large 1.2 cm pseudo-rhombohedron on the edge of a matrix. The matrix is calcite, covered in chrysocolla, and lined with cloudly quartz crystals to 4 mm. An amazing specimen! This quality level shows how this recent find (2013-2014) at the Lily mine ranks "best of species" for this unusual copper mineral.
