Parasymplesite is a monoclinic iron arsenate, specifically the arsenate analog of vivianite. The type locality is in Japan. Dunn (1995) describes its occurrence at Sterling Hill. The mineral forms pale blue green blades crystals lying flat on a fracture surface. Here the individuals reach about 9 mm. Great locality piece!
