Paradamite - Sold

A mound of flattened and curved crystals to 7 mm across, has formed like fish scales on a matrix of gossan. This is a very rich and stunning displaty specimen of paradamite. This writer purchased this specimen from the estate of Eugene Foord, when Al Falster and Skip Simmons were distributing the minerals at the 1998 Denver Show. This specimen was on display at the University of Arizona (in a guest exhibit) for over one year. The writer kept this piece until March 2012, when he sold the specimen to Ron Pellar. Specimens of this quality are very rare; perhaps they come around once a decade. Ex Eugene E. Foord, Marcus J. Origlieri, Ron Pellar collections.
