Jacobsite is a iron-manganese spinel group mineral originally found at and named after Jakobsberg in Sweden (Damour, 1869). This specimen came from a recent find debuted at the Tucson Show in 2013, but probably produced in 2012. The minerals forms brilliant black octahedra to 3 mm with calcite.
