Finnemanite is a hexagonal lead arsenite chloride related to mimetite. Aminoff (1923) named the mineral after Karl Johan Finneman (1880-1953), miner at Långban who preserved much of the best of the deposit. This is a fine specimen, with crystals to 6 mm lying flat on hematite matrix.
This specimen was part of the personal collection of Ralph Merrill, proprietor of the prolific mail order business Minerals Unlimited. Merrill's collection card and label also ship with the specimen.
