Rongibbsite (IMA 2010-055) is a hydrated lead aluminum silicate. The mineral was discovered by Ron Gibbs, an avid micromineral enthusiast and field collector, after whom Yang et al. 2013 named the mineral. The mineral forms minute (<0.5 mm) colorless bladed crystals on iron stained quartz matrix.
