Sussexite - Sold

Sussexite is a manganese borate named for its original occurrence in Sussex County, New Jersey, though not at Sterling Hill (Brush, 1868). The mineral forms a porcelian like pink mass in this specimen with white calcite, black franklinite, and orange zincite. The attached number (BUU) is from the Cureton collection, but the piece retains no such labels. A large example from a closed locality. There a vintage Minerals Unlimited label present.
