Heinrichite is a barium uranium arsenate belonging to the autunite group of minerals (Gross et al. 1958). The mineral here forms yellow platy crystals to 1.5 mm on light gray volcanic matrix. Rather rich for the species. This specimen was part of the personal collection of Ralph Merrill, proprietor of the prolific mail order business Minerals Unlimited.
