Phosphuranylite - Sold

Genth (1879) named phosphuranylite after its composition, a uranium bearing phosphate. This specimen comes from a famous uranium mine in France, and consists of a 1 mm coverage of minute crystals on an altered granite. This specimen has been stabilized, probably by cyanoacrylate. Very rich specimen. This specimen was part of the personal collection of Ralph Merrill, proprietor of the prolific mail order business Minerals Unlimited.
