Strengite - Sold

Strengite is an iron phosphate dihydrate. The iron imparts a rich purple color, which is evident in this specimen. This curious specimen has water clear crystals grown tightly into botryoids to 2 mm, much like a bunch of wine grapes. Excellent luster and transparency for the species. This specimen was purchased in Sweden in 1994, from the collection of Dennis Holmberg.
