Annabergite is a hydrous nickel arsenate named after its occurrence at Annaberg, Germany. Annabergite forms a green encrustation on nickeline, which is the source of the nickel and arsenic in its composition. This specimen comes from Ralph Merrill collection, proprietor of Minerals Unlimited. Purchase includes Merrill's catalog card (and label), accessioned in 1959. Also carries a Robert Roots label.
