Lueshite is an orthorhombic sodium niobate, originally described by Belgian mineralogist Safiannikoff in 1959. The mineral forms pseudocubic crystals in a vermiculite matrix, which is only loosely attached to the crystals. This is an earthy, black 5 mm pseudocube of the mineral.
