This is a specimen from a Bavarian pegmatite, with numerous purple strengite crystals to 2.5 mm, scattered over an area 2.5 by 2.0 cm. Strengite crystals have a remarkably rich color, as in this example. Former Mark Mauthner and Fred Pough collections.
