Fluellite and variscite are both aluminum phosphate minerals. This specimen features an open cavity, 3.5 cm across, lined with blocky white fluellite crystals to 1.5 mm and light green variscite spheres to 2 mm. This locality in Nevada has produced some of the largest crystals of fluellite known.
