- 5.7 × 4.2 × 3.8 cm – Miniature specimen (fits into a 5 cm cube)
Arsendescloizite is a hydrous lead zinc arsenate, related to duftite and descloizite (Keller & Dunn, 1982). While arsendescloizite is quite rare at Tsumeb, more abndant material from Ojuela afforded sufficient material for species collectors. Arsendescloizite at Ojuela occurs in varying shades of green, colored by copper substitution for zinc.
Arsendescloizite here is dark hunter green with a varying surface luster, ranging from resinous to rather dull. Microcystalline yellow mimetite formed later on top of the arsendesclozite. A good reference example of the species.
