Chlorargyrite - Sold

Chlorargyrite is a silver chloride, typically carrying a small amount of nonessential bromine. The mineral name follows from its chemistry, combining chlorine with the Greek root argyros for silver. Chlorargyrite becomes greener with increasing bromine content. While known since the 16th century, Weisbach (1875) assigned the species its currently accepted mineral name.

This is a spongy masses of chloragryite crystals associated with cerussite. A small example of the rich ore that made Broken Hill famous.
