Parádsasvárite (Paradsasvarite) - Sold

Parádsasvárite is a zinc carbonate hydroxide, a member of the rosasite group. It has dominant zinc in two separate crystallographic sites. The mineral name recalls the type locality at Parádsasvár, Mátra Mountains, Hungary (Féher et al., 2015). Blue parádsasvárite coats a surface of metasedimentary matrix, with microcrystals of tarbuttite in association. The blue color suggests a minor copper content in the mineral.
