Tsumcorite is a lead zinc iron arsenate mineral. The mineral takes its name from the Tsumeb Corporation Limited, operators of the type locality (Geier et al., 1971). This specimen is a quartz breccia matrix, lined with smithsonite, and partly covreed in botryoidal golden tsumcorite. The tsumcorite is very fine-grained, very rich covreing the matrix. Additionally, a single fine smithsonite crystal, 1 cm, stands proudly from the matrix. Good piece.
