Lueshite is an orthorhombic sodium niobate, originally described by Safiannikoff (1959). The mineral name denotes follows from the name of the type locality. The mineral forms pseudocubic crystals in a vermiculite matrix, which is only loosely attached to the crystals. This is an earthy, black 6 mm pseudocube of the mineral.
