Reinerite is a zinc arsenite mineral (Geier & Weber, 1958). The mineral name honors Willy Reiner (1895-1965), chemist working for the Tsumeb Corporation, who first analyzed the mineral. This specimen consists of a 13 by 4 mm crystal of reinerite embedded in granular legrandite. The reinerite crystal is lustrous and colorless. Quite well formed for the species.
