Bahianite is an aluninum antimony oxide mineral. The mineral name follows from the State of Bahia (Brazil), wherein the mineral was first discovered (Moore et al. 1978). The mineral forms alluvial, water worn grains. Locals call these pebbles "favas". A large grain for the species.
