Santabarbaraite is a new mineral species, replacing the formerly poorly characterized phase "oxy-kertschenite". The mineral is namely after a California localty which produced few examples. The Ukraine specimens are richer and larger, as in the case of this fine example. Santabarbarite has replaced vivianite crystals to 7 mm.
