Ojuelaite is a hydrous zinc iron arsenate named after this locality (Cesbron et al. 1981). Legrandite is a hydrous zinc arsenate originally found elsewhere in Mexico (Drugman et al. 1932). Scorodite is a hydrous iron arsenate, named after Greek word for garlic, which odor it gives upon heating (Breithaupt, 1818).
Ojuelaite here forms a 3 mm fibrous bundle, overgrown with millimetric green-blue scorodite crystals and yellow legrandite prisms to 3 mm. This material came out alongside the fabulous legrandite specimens in 1977. From the collection of southern California collector and dealer Mac Blair.
