Shattuckite is a copper silicate mineral named after the Shattuck mine at Bisbee, Arizona (Schaller, 1915). In this example, a dodecahedral crystal of cuprite formed first, which later transformed to porcelainous blue shattuckite. This is a loose crystal, with minor adhering clay, approximately 75% complete.
