Sieleckiite is a very rare hydrated copper aluminum phosphate mineral. The mineral name honors Rob Sielecki, geologist and mineral collector who discovered the mineral (Birch & Pring, 1988). Until quite recently, only a few fragments from the original discovery boulder were available, but a new occurrence in England has supplied additional material. Sieleckite here forms microscopic royal blue spheres and globules. The mineral occurs here with pale blue turquoise and green libethenite. A label signed by discoverer Mr. Sielecki accompanies the specimen.
