Nadorite - Sold


Flajolot (1870) named nadorite for its original occurrence at Djebel Nador, Algeria. Nadorite is an antimony lead oxychoride. The mineral here forms bright yellow crystals to 2 mm with larger calcite crystals on a fracture in hematite ore.

This specimen was part of the personal collection of Ralph Merrill, proprietor of the prolific mail order business Minerals Unlimited. This specimen also carries a Percy Quensel (quenselite) label. Merrill's collection card and label also ship with the specimen.
