Weeksite is a uranyl silicate mineral named in honor of Alice Weeks, a specialist on the Colorado roll type deposits (Outerbridge et al. 1960). The mineral here forms yellow feathery aggregrates on gray chalcedony quartz matrix, mostly on the edge of this specimen. This is a very rich example.
