- 5.4 by 2.4 by 0.8 cm – Miniature specimen (fits into a 5 cm cube)
Genth (1879) named phosphuranylite after its composition, a uranium bearing phosphate. This specimen is a flat solid matrix covered in yellow platy crystals to perhaps 1 mm. The mineral likely formed in a tight fractures, and few of the plates show definite crystalline edges. An undesignated label indicates acquisition in 1959 from Brian Mason. Very rich specimen.
