Sarabauite - Sold

Sarabauite is a calcium antimony sulfide oxide chemically related to kermesite. Nakai et al. (1978) named the mineral for its original occurrence at the Sarabau mine on Borneo. The mineral here forms red masses to 2.0 by 1.0 cm embedded in massive calcite and wollastonite with an amorphous greenish phase. Forrest Cureton traveled to this locality and collected this material in the early 1980s. A Cureton Mineral Company label accompanies the specimen.
